Job Description
JOB – Electrical Design Engineer
LOCATION – Newcastle
TERM – Permanent
SALARY – £35,000 – £50,000 per annum depending on experience
A Newcastle based engineering company are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- HNC or equivalent electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline
- At least 3 years’ experience in Control System design – through to commissioning
- Strong understanding & experience working with industrial control panels
- Proficient with AutoCAD electrical drawing package
- PLC programming from scratch
- Full UK driving license
The Electrical Design Engineer’s duties will involve:
- Creating & developing technical drawings, schematics & BoMs
- Attending site visits when required
- Liaising with customers & other departments to ensure requirements are met at all times
- Ensuring health & safety regulations are met at all times
