DEVOPS ARCHITECT
PERMANENT

THE ROLE
- The DevOps Architect is responsible for leading the design, implementation and maintenance of our DevOps infrastructure and Infrastructure as code
- To ensure DevOps systems are scalable, secure and reliable
- Accountable for enhancing deployment pipelines, improving system performance, and fostering collaboration across various teams to streamline workflows and drive innovation.
- Maintaining documentation and training relating to Devops Systems
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Demonstrable experience in Devops role at an architecture level
- Knowledge of scripting such as bash, python
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms, AWS and Azure
- Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Extensive experience with configuration management tooling: Ansible
- Extensive experience with infrastructure as code tooling: Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep
- Extensive experience of CI/CD Tooling: Gitlab, Gitlab Runners
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools
- Understanding of microservices architecture and Restful API’s
- ITIL V3 Foundation accreditation
