DEVOPS ARCHITECT

PERMANENT

CITY OF LONDON

£95,000

THE ROLE

  • The DevOps Architect is responsible for leading the design, implementation and maintenance of our DevOps infrastructure and Infrastructure as code
  • To ensure DevOps systems are scalable, secure and reliable
  • Accountable for enhancing deployment pipelines, improving system performance, and fostering collaboration across various teams to streamline workflows and drive innovation.
  • Maintaining documentation and training relating to Devops Systems

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Demonstrable experience in Devops role at an architecture level
  • Knowledge of scripting such as bash, python
  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms, AWS and Azure
  • Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Extensive experience with configuration management tooling: Ansible
  • Extensive experience with infrastructure as code tooling: Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep
  • Extensive experience of CI/CD Tooling: Gitlab, Gitlab Runners
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and Restful API’s
  • ITIL V3 Foundation accreditation
