Job Description

First Point Group is recruiting for Site Design Manager / Design Delivery Manager for our telecoms client in the UK. You must have previous experience with any of the following projects and/or companies Ericsson / Nokia / Huawei / BT / EE / Vodafone / MBNL / CTIL / TEF / Cellnex.

The Design Delivery Manager is responsible for the acquisition and delivery of site designs and approvals for new sites, upgrades, enhancements, and capacity increases within the mobile cell site network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in and maintain a deployment factory that accelerates mobile network rollout, focusing on standardization and simplification to enhance efficiency, flexibility, and speed.
  • Promote a culture of to maximize collective knowledge, skills, and capabilities across the team.
  • Continuously drive improvements through experimentation, testing new ideas, and implementing effective solutions quickly.
  • Ensure appropriate reporting and governance are in place to provide visibility and awareness for stakeholders and sponsors.
  • Utilize escalation processes effectively to enhance delivery performance.
  • Oversee design programs to align with build and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure high-quality, cost-effective designs are developed by partners that meet required specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and improve site design delivery in collaboration with other UK telecom operators and tower partners – internal teams, partners, and third parties, ensuring efficiency in terms of time, quality, and cost.
  • Manage operational issues and escalations related to site design processes and deliverables.
  • Drive innovation to simplify site design outputs and ensure high accuracy and fast execution.
  • Ensure accurate site solution documentation, transforming demand into site-specific instructions for rapid and precise deployment.
