Contracts manager @ EV charging business

Job Description

We are working with a forward-thinking leader in the electric vehicle charging industry, dedicated to accelerating the transition to sustainable transportation. The role will be hybrid based in London.

The Role:

As a Contracts Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end management of contracts related to the design, installation, and maintenance of EV charging stations. You’ll work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This is a key role in driving operational success and supporting the expansion of the businesses EV network.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
2. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
3. Monitor project budgets, timelines, and deliverables, resolving any contractual disputes.
4. Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to align contract terms with operational goals.
5. Identify risks and opportunities within contracts to maximize efficiency and profitability.
6. Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to senior management.

What We’re Looking For:

1. Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, ideally in real estate, infrastructure, or energy sectors.
2. Knowledge of EV charging or renewable energy industries is a strong advantage.
3. Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
4. Familiarity with contract law and industry-standard terms.
5. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
6. Degree or equivalent in business, law, engineering, or a related field.
