Your New Role

As a Commercial Bid Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for driving bid success through strategic commercial planning and analysis. Your role will involve reviewing tender contract terms, managing clarification processes, and translating complex agreements into actionable insights. You will collaborate with financial and planning teams to prepare internal approvals, oversee tender evaluations, and develop strategic option studies to maximise scoring outcomes. Additionally, you will lead early contractor involvement by coordinating with subcontractors to ensure accurate pricing and commercial alignment. You will also establish financial reporting structures, track project costs, and support monthly financial reporting to maintain transparency and control over commercial performance.

Your Background

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in commercial analysis, finance, or consultancy, with a grasp of accounting principles and corporate finance. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential to present commercial strategies and recommendations effectively. Experience in bid management, financial reporting, and collaborating with contractors in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable. The ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines and excellent interpersonal skills are crucial for success in this role.
