Business Development Manager – South of England – Onshore and Offshore wind – £60k to £65k
Role: Business Development Manager – Offshore and Onshore Wind
Location: South of England (Hybrid with travel)
Salary & Package: £55K to £65k Base + Commission + Benefits
One of our key clients in renewable energy is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across the offshore and onshore wind markets. This role involves identifying opportunities, building relationships, acquiring clients, and influencing strategic partnerships. You will work with internal teams to identify market trends and support long-term business strategies. Regular travel will be required for client meetings, industry events, and key partnerships.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years’ business development experience, preferably in renewable energy
- Experience in offshore and onshore wind markets
- Proven ability to build and nurture client relationships
- Experience in proposals, bids, and contract negotiations
- Ability to identify market opportunities and trends
- Familiarity with renewable energy regulations
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects
- Self-motivated and results-driven
- Right to work in the UK
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage with prospective clients in the wind sector
- Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities
