Job Title: Bid Manager x3

Location: Remote

Position: Bid Manager (3 Positions)

Salary: £60,000 – £70,000

Employment Type: Full-Time

This business prides themselves on their collaborative approach, innovation, and commitment to excellence.

Due to their continued growth, they are looking for three experienced Bid Managers to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key player in securing new projects and contributing to the continued success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the end-to-end bid process for a variety of construction projects.
  2. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and senior leadership to gather the necessary information for bid submissions.
  3. Create and submit high-quality, tailored proposals that address client needs, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and competitiveness.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners to understand project requirements and anticipate opportunities.
  5. Coordinate and manage all internal resources involved in the bid process to meet deadlines and ensure quality control.
  6. Analyse and assess bid opportunities, advising leadership on the potential risks and rewards of each project.
  7. Review and negotiate terms and conditions of the contract, ensuring alignment with company policies.
  8. Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to help shape bid strategies.
  9. Collaborate with marketing and design teams to enhance proposal presentation and content.

Qualifications & Skills:

  1. Proven experience as a Bid Manager in the construction industry (minimum of 3-5 years).
  2. Strong understanding of the construction bidding process, including RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and tender submissions.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling proposals.
  4. Strong project management abilities with the capacity to handle multiple bids simultaneously.
  5. Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing tight deadlines.
  6. Proficient in bid management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  7. Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards is essential.
  8. Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  9. A degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
