Job Description
We are working with one of the major professional services firms to recruit an Associate Director-level PM to work on a £300m+ data centre project, currently in the design phase.
The scheme is working with a fantastic client, and further beyond this project, there are many different avenues available for progression for the right person – ideally someone with a building services background, although this is not essential.
It is essential for you to have pre-construction experience to be considered for this role.
The initiative involves the development of the data centre alongside various enhancements to existing data halls aimed at optimizing PUE, upgrading critical infrastructure, and boosting power capacity.
The facility will have access to a power supply, supported by backup power from on-site generators. Cooling will be managed using chilled water, with the possibility of redirecting surplus heat to serve the surrounding community.
Additional components of the project include expanding the power and cooling systems to accommodate higher IT load requirements across the campus.
