Job Description
Marine Underwriter (Brighton, hybrid working)
Excellent salary, bonus and benefits DOE
The Opportunity: To underwrite key accounts, drive new business growth, and ensure the operational effectiveness of the Marine Delegated Authority Agreements (DAA). This includes servicing, underwriting, and administering the DAA in a timely, professional, and efficient manner.
What’s needed for me to be considered?
- Strong knowledge of Commercial Underwriting.
- Ideally well versed in Marine Insurance.
- Holding or working towards one of the Chartered Insurance Institute Qualifications, Cert CII, Dip CII or ACII would be an advantage.
- Risk aware in handling client information, 100% client centric, focused on the best possible outcome for our clients at all times.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with insurers.
