Solutions Manager/Engineer – Energy Storage – up to £100k | LONDON | HYBRID

With a strong focus on Wind Turbines, Energy Storage, and Hydrogen solutions, we deliver comprehensive and innovative solutions for a sustainable future.
They are looking for a Solutions Manager/Engineer and you will be responsible for:
- System Design & Engineering: Develop and optimize utility-scale energy storage solutions, working closely with the sales team to deliver top-tier engineering solutions.
- Technical Evaluation: Analyze RFPs, assess project scope, and identify potential risks.
- Customer Engagement: Conduct technical presentations, respond to queries, and ensure a smooth pre-sales process.
- Solution Development: Translate customer requirements into Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) technical designs.
- Bid Preparation: Review and submit technical proposals, ensuring compliance with deadlines.
- Contract Negotiation Support: Collaborate with customers and commercial teams to finalize contracts from a technical standpoint.
You will have experience with:
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
- 8+ years of experience in energy storage, grid integration, or related fields (experience with DNOs or TSOs is a plus)
- Strong technical knowledge of:
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) (>5MW scale)
- Power Conversion Systems (PCS) / Inverters
- Grid connection (medium & high voltage)
- PPC/EMS/SCADA control software
- Lithium-Ion (LFP) battery technology
- Fluent in technical English (additional European languages like Italian, German, or Spanish are a plus)
