The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is a multilateral development bank whose mission is Financing Infrastructure for Tomorrow in Asia and beyond — infrastructure with sustainability at its core. Since beginning operations in Beijing in 2016, AIIB has grown to 110 approved members worldwide. Capitalized at USD 100 billion and AAA-rated by major international credit rating agencies, AIIB collaborates with partners to meet clients' needs by unlocking new capital and investing in green, technology-enabled infrastructure that promotes regional connectivity.
The Sectors, Themes, and Finance Solutions Department (STF) fosters technical excellence and expands the Bank's financing expertise across sectors and themes to support sovereign and non-sovereign investment operations. It develops innovative investment projects and introduces new products and financing modalities, often ahead of mainstream adoption by Client Departments (CDs). In collaboration with CDs, STF conducts upstream work to support new initiatives in frontier technologies, PPP advisory, and other sectors. It guides the Bank's corporate strategy by setting thematic priorities such as green infrastructure, technology-enabled infrastructure, private capital mobilization, and cross-border cooperation. The department also supports cross-cutting themes including climate, inclusivity, and nature. STF represents the Bank in international forums, networks with development partners, and reinforces AIIB's reputation as a premier development institution contributing to the global development agenda.
AIIB is seeking motivated (Senior) Investment Solutions Specialists with expertise in climate change, climate finance, climate technology, and climate risk assessment.
