Job Description

Our client is a forward-thinking, solution-based regeneration specialist. They carry out all elements of refurbishment and capital investment works, retrofit and decarbonisation and regeneration and new build projects within the social housing and local authority sectors across the North West.

Your Responsibilities

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing refurbishment projects from inception to completion.

Key duties will include:

  • Ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and work programmes.
  • Preparing progress reports, monitoring project schedules, and signing off quality control documentation.
  • Managing costs and working closely with the Quantity Surveyor (QS) to optimise project profitability.
  • Coordinating all team members, setting objectives, and planning activities to meet project goals.
  • Allocating tasks and evaluating team performance, ensuring capability alignment.
  • Conducting thorough induction processes and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensuring all tradespeople have the necessary materials and equipment.
  • Maintaining a satisfactory and safe site environment.
  • Upholding the highest standards of work quality, whether performed by staff or contractors.

  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
