This is an exciting opportunity to manage a creative multi-let building in West London. You will oversee the day-to-day management and operational activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
About you
- Strong background in property management, facilities, or real estate.
- Knowledge of health & safety compliance (IOSH/NEBOSH).
- Experience with managing tenants, contractors, and leases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Xero, Re-Leased (or similar accounting/property management software).
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, invoicing, and arrears management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
About the role
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain the building to a high standard.
- Oversee repairs, improvements, and liaise with contractors.
- Maintain contractor attendance schedules and verify supplier invoices.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants regarding facilities and lease-related inquiries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, contractors, and suppliers.
- Conduct viewings and lettings, ensuring high occupancy levels.
- Liaise with the company’s solicitor to provide heads of terms for agreed lettings, ensuring engrossments are issued promptly and procedures are followed through to lease completion.
- Oversee financial obligations, including raising invoices, managing arrears, and monitoring service charges/rent deposit accounts.
- Maintain management reports, including tenancy schedules and compliance documentation.
- Oversee matters with suppliers, utility companies and local authorities, including tenancy changes.
- Support the Directors with additional property-related tasks as required.
