Educated Appointments are delighted to be working alongside an Ofsted OUTSTANDING apprenticeship provider, assisting with their search for a Management and Project Management Apprenticeship Tutor. Covering the South West of England, the tutor will be based from home, working via a hybrid model of both face to face and remote delivery. Although the ideal applicant will already have their assessors/teaching qualifications, experienced Ops/Project Managers who are looking to take their steps into the world of education are encouraged to apply.
Working with a caseload of learners undergoing their apprenticeships in Management or Project Management, it will be your responsibility to guide and engage with these learners throughout their apprenticeship, providing top quality training to give the learner the best chance possible of achieving their apprenticeship.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging Management / Project Management training to Apprentices in line with the apprenticeship standards to a high level.
- Build excellent relationships with both Apprentices and Employers.
- Deliver outstanding learning and assessment through numerous methods.
- Develop learning and delivery plans that meet the needs, and support timely achievement.
- Support the bookings of exams / End Point Assessments.
- Monitor apprentice progress towards completion of the apprenticeship.
- Report into the management team on progress and learning outcomes for Apprentices.
- Maintain a safe learning environment, supporting learners in understanding how to keep themselves, and others, safe and notifying management of any risks.
- Promote fundamental British values.
- Support learners to engage and develop maths and English skills.
- Undertake effective progress reviews and set SMART targets with employers and learners to monitor progress and support development and timely achievement.
- Support learners to undertake practical assessments, providing the relevant paperwork and record-keeping to comply with awarding body and end-point assessment requirements.
- Support learners to enhance their soft skills and progress within the workplace.
- Ensure full quality compliance to support learners’ timely progress and meet Awarding Body, ESFA and Ofsted requirements.
- Liaise with external agencies and parents/carers to ensure that learners make good or better progress.
- Comply with agreed learner retention, attendance and success measure process.
