Job Description

If you are based within the Hampshire, Surrey, or Sussex area with Main Contractor or Sub Contractor experience, looking to join a business with a strong flow of work, this opportunity may be for you.

Role: Taking control of Health and Safety processes including:

  1. Hazard Analysis
  2. SOPs
  3. Contractor Health and Safety Requirements
  4. Accident and Incident Investigation
  5. Carrying out toolbox talks, inductions, and inspections
  6. Creating site HSSE strategies and pushing safety standards

Prepared to travel during the week due to the business being very client-led rather than geographically focused. You should be ready to roll up your sleeves and set standards from the front, demonstrating a can-do attitude while building teams and sustaining long-term relationships.

Requirements:

  1. NEBOSH certification
  2. 5+ Years On-site experience working as a Safety Manager or Advisor
  3. Experience of Build and Civil Engineering Works
  4. History of working for Main Contractors or Sub-Contractors looking after worker welfare and safety on construction sites
  5. Hold a permanent employment history
