Platform Engineering Tech Lead

We are on the lookout for a Tech Lead to guide an engineering team in developing groundbreaking technology and spearheading the creation of a cutting-edge MVP. Are you ready to transform the insurance world? As a Tech Lead, you’ll: Lead a high-performing team to build, maintain, and support innovative software platforms. Collaborate with product managers to transform ideas into impactful features. Ensure top-quality design and development, while setting and maintaining best practices. Solve technical challenges with ownership of creative solutions. Utilise metrics to drive decision-making and track the impact of changes. Reduce friction in the development process, enhancing the speed and efficiency of engineering teams. Responsibilities: Provide design leadership , proposing and evaluating new technologies and solutions. Lead the team in building and maintaining a high-quality platform with a focus on performance and security. Collaborate with architects to align with strategic technical decisions. Advocate for standards and best practices in software development and cloud compliance. Monitor and optimize cloud costs while ensuring compliance with ISO & CIS benchmarks. Be part of the out-of-hours on-call support , ensuring reliable deployment and support for live products. Key Skills & Experience: Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams, particularly in regulated industries . Deep experience in managing AWS and Kubernetes , with a solid track record in ISO audits . Expertise in tools like Terraform , GitLab , DataDog , and GitOps . Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts effectively. Familiarity with start-up, scale-up, or SaaS environments. Ready to take on this challenge?
