Job Description
EXPERIENCED OPERATIONS MANAGER / OPERATIONS DIRECTOR / REGIONAL MANAGER
LOCATION: Midlands / North based
SALARY: Circa £65,000 – £95,000 DOE
ROLE: Operations Manager – Waste Management & Recycling
You will be responsible for:
- Rolling out the board’s strategy
- Successful delivery of service
- Improving profitability and efficiency
- Working closely with the compliance team
- Delivering strong employee engagement across a multifunctional team
EXPERIENCE:
You will ideally have:
- Experience in the Waste Management Sector, or a process or heavy manufacturing industry with both production and logistical elements
- Proven leadership / man management in a multi-site regional environment
- Examples of improvements, effecting service delivery, and driving employee engagement in previous roles
USEFUL QUALIFICATIONS OR TRAINING (NON-ESSENTIAL):
IOSH, NEBOSH, COTC / WAMITAB, IEMA, ILM, MBA, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Management, Financial, Six Sigma, Kanban, 5S, 5 Whys, TPS, Kaizen or other Lean or Continuous Improvement training.
