Job Title: Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering Intern
We are seeking a motivated and talented Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team for Summer 2025 . Please note we are taking applications at this point and will respond near the December 2024 timeframe. This position is only open to students currently enrolled in College.
This provides a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the field of mechanical and manufacturing engineering. The selected candidate will work closely with our seasoned engineers and contribute to real-world projects, gaining valuable insights into the intricacies of product development and manufacturing processes.
EDUCATION
- Enrollment in a mechanical or mechanical engineering degree producing program. Sophomore level but we will make exceptions for the right individual.
ENGINEERING RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Prepare plans with detailed drawings that include project specifications and cost estimates.
- Design and execute engineering experiments to create workable solutions.
- Develop engineering calculations, diagrams and technical reports.
- Complete required technical and regulatory documents.
ENGINEERING QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication, including creating and delivering presentations.
- Basic skills in critical software applications, such as ERP, Solidworks and ASME Y14.5 Drawing Standards.
- Proficiency in creating parts, such as stamping, machining, molding, 3D printing, and casting.
- Knowledge in data and problem analysis, creative problem solving, and design thinking.
- Up-to-date knowledge and technical skills required to design and operate our core products and services.
