<p>Job Description</p><p><strong>Interim Head of Sustainability</strong></p><p><strong>London</strong></p><p><strong>9-month Fixed Term Contract</strong></p><p><strong>Circa £65,000 + Benefits</strong></p><p>Were delighted to be partnering with a leading educational institution to recruit an Interim Head of Sustainability. This position will lead on sustainability strategy, creating and managing initiatives and action plans to ensure targets are met.</p><p>This is an excellent opportunity to make a genuine impact, working with a well-established team in a globally recognised institution.</p><p>This role offers very flexible working but will primarily be based out of their head office in Central London.</p><p>Responsibilities of the <strong>Head of Sustainability</strong> will include:</p><ol><li>Lead development of the sustainability strategy, driving this forward across the organisation and influencing decision making.</li><li>Update the environmental strategy to ensure compliance, and communicate changes and initiatives throughout the organisation to ensure best practice.</li><li>Identify and analyse group-wide data, developing measurable action points which can be incorporated in objectives throughout the group.</li><li>Act as the main point of contact for the sustainability program with key stakeholders including clients, contractors, and regulators.</li></ol><p>The successful <strong>Head of Sustainability</strong> requires:</p><ol><li>Proven Environmental Sustainability Management experience, ideally within the property, housing, local government or related industries.</li><li>Strong technical knowledge across relevant sustainability legislations, compliance, and regulations.</li><li>Degree level qualification or equivalent in an appropriate environmental discipline, and ideally hold a professional membership with a recognised environmental body (IEMA, CIEEM, CIWEM).</li><li>A passion for excellence, and an ambition to lead the sustainability agenda within an industry leader.</li></ol><p>For more information on this opportunity or to discuss your next career move, contact James Cox on 01923 432 687, or apply here.</p> J-18808-Ljbffr
