Installation and Service Engineer (Fume Cupboard / LEV)
£36,000 – £42,000 + Company van + Overtime + Bonus + Holiday Buy Back + DAYS ONLY

Are you an Engineer from an HVAC or Laboratory equipment background looking to work for a stable company that offers excellent specialist training and development, overtime, pay progression and a generous bonus scheme to boost your salary package?
Would you like to be trained on specialist LEV equipment and put through your P601 and P602 certifications?
On offer is the opportunity to work in a varied role where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, and repair of fume cupboards/Laminar flow cabinets and ducting, ensuring the delivery of excellent standards of service to new and existing customers.
This role primarily serves the area above with the intention to return home each day but, when working on an installation, it is likely to require overnight accommodation from time to time.
Once fully trained, each Engineer will work mainly on their own but at times with colleagues. All work closely with the project management Team and report to the Field Operations Manager.
The Role:
- Installing new equipment including PVC/Polypropylene Ducting and welding
- Providing scheduled, preventative, and reactive maintenance/servicing on fume cupboards, Class I & II safety cabinets & LEV systems
- Calibrating/validating, modifying and commissioning Systems
- Providing post-installation training for customers
- Performing on-site risk assessments
- Computer literate (all reporting carried out on laptop).
The Person:
- Experience of HVAC, M&E installation & servicing
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Be customer-focused with a strong problem-solving/fault-finding ability, with self-motivation and drive
- Must have a full (ideally) clean driving licence & ability to pass DBS & police authority checks
