Job Description A large and well-established organisation is looking for an Information Security Architect to join their Architecture function, as they go through a period of significant technology transformation. Please note that this role will require 4 days per week in their central London office. The Architecture function is responsible for architectural governance, ensuring technological alignment to business goals, and minimising risk during periods of change. As the Information Security Architect, you will be responsible for: Strategic Design and Implementation – ensuring a ‘Secure by Design’ approach is embedded in the development of their services and infrastructure. Security Architecture Leadership – focusing on critical areas including Security Operations Technology stacks including SOC, SIEM, and EDR systems. Cloud and Application Security – enhancing the frameworks of their cloud-based services (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) and Microsoft Office 365 applications through advanced security measures and Access Management. Regulatory Compliance and Operational Security – ensuring compliance with various regulatory standards (ISO27001, NIST, COBIT, CIS). Governance, Risk, and Compliance – taking a lead in GRC activities that support business growth. Importantly, you will actively contribute to the development of their IT strategy through your insights into new market-leading technologies and advising on how they may be of benefit. Requirements Prior experience designing and leading on the development of security architectures, with knowledge of architectural frameworks. Experience leading on security initiatives at an enterprise level. Strong knowledge of securing modern platforms and networks. Experience developing solutions for identity and access management within modern frameworks such as Entra AD. Experience managing governance, risk, and compliance activities. SABSA Certification would be highly desirable. Excellent communication, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management skills. Benefits Salary up to £90,000 depending on experience.
