<p>Job Description</p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p><strong>Head of Investment Operations: West End Boutique Wealth Management & Institutional Asset Management company</strong></p><p>Martis Search are representing a London-based boutique Asset Management company to hire a permanent Head of Investment Operations.</p><p>This is one of the most exciting senior Buyside Head of Operations roles this year.</p><p>The role requires someone with extensive Wealth Management & Institutional Asset Management Operations experience as a Head of Operations from a reputable company with AUM between $2 bn – $15 bn.</p><p>The chosen incumbent needs a strong working knowledge of Equities, Fixed Income, Fund-of-Funds, and Private Equity, along with strong Securities, Funds, and Private Equity Operational knowledge.</p><p>This is an amazing opportunity to join a growing boutique Asset Manager and make a significant impact on the business. The role reports to the CEO, and the company boasts multi-billion $ AUM. The business is growing with new clients and innovative market/investment ideas.</p><p>The role involves managing an existing Investment Operations team. You will be expected to lead, manage, and coordinate all operational infrastructure within the team, the wider business, external systems, and service providers in all aspects of investment activity and client interaction.</p><p>The client base includes global Ultra-High-Net-Worth individuals and families, as well as Institutional clients such as Pension Funds and Insurance companies. Strong Asset Management Operations experience across both client types is essential.</p><p>This is a strategic and senior Head of Operations role requiring significant change, including new product/fund launches, selecting new systems suppliers and custodians/administrators/3rd party suppliers, implementing a new OMS/PMS from inception, and creating new Client Operations departments in 2025.</p><p>The role is hybrid and encompasses extensive senior Operations experience across various investment asset classes, fund types, and working with multiple custodians. You will be expected to redesign much of their operational infrastructure and be the most senior leader in the business regarding Operations. There is no current COO, but you will have a direct line to the CEO and work with the Executive team, including the Head of Compliance and CFO.</p><p>As a senior Operations Director, your responsibilities will cover global clients trading in global markets. Although there is a separate Head of Compliance, you need to understand the implications of external Compliance that affects the Operations department, such as MiFID II, EMIR Trade & Transaction Regulatory Reporting.
