Our client is searching for a competent and enthusiastic Graduate Energy & Carbon Consultant to play a role within their carbon team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the energy industry, preferably gained within an environmental or energy consultancy, with an excellent knowledge of the UK energy industry.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the data entry required for SECR and CCA compliance and produce reports for clients.
- Liaise with clients and energy suppliers to obtain energy information.
- Experience with SECR, CCA's, and Carbon Footprinting projects is desirable.
- Provide technical support on projects and work alongside account managers to present completed work.
- Carry out energy assessments and provide energy opportunities in a supporting role.
- Conduct energy audits accompanied by one of our experienced consultants.
Ideal Candidate
- Knowledge of the CDP disclosure system.
- Relevant degree (engineering, Sustainability, built environment).
- Knowledge of UK regulatory frameworks such as SECR and the TCFD recommendations and associated disclosure requirements.
- Quality technical writing skills, able to draft client-facing reports to a high standard.
- Local to Manchester or willing to commute.
