Contract Position based at: Whitley, some travel to Gaydon, Ansty Park, and Lyons Park. Full time on site. Umbrella Rate: £26.65 /hour. Length of Contract: 12 Months.

What You Will Do:

  • Support Engineering Operations activities, ensuring the safe, smooth, efficient, and effective operation of Test Facilities for product development.
  • Uphold the company's 'Destination Zero' policies by demonstrating safe working practices.
  • Tackle problem-solving with control systems, contributing to the team's success.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently, both orally and in writing, with team members and customers.
  • Show a proactive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
  • Utilize computer literacy to enhance workflow and documentation.

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Proven experience and understanding of facilities, processes, equipment, and leading technologies.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
  • Experienced in problem-solving control systems.
  • Clear and confident communicator both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to challenge existing thinking in a positive way whilst building credibility and trust through experience and personal style.
  • Ability to follow written and spoken instructions and interface well with customers.
  • Ability to work quickly and pay attention to detail.
  • Computer literate, including Microsoft Office.
  • A full UK driving license.

Preferred:

  • Technical expertise and experience of test facilities and control systems for AVL, ABB, and Horiba.
  • Knowledge of Fuels.
  • Experience with IATF 16949 or ISO 9001 standards and requirements.
  • Problem-solving qualification.
  • Knowledge of company Health and Safety requirements, Risk Assessments, COSHH, and SDS.
  • Knowledge of fluid controls, ventilation systems, and chilled fluids.

Education:

  • A Level 4 qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline or relevant experience.
  • Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent in English, Maths, and Science.
