Job Description
Looking for an experienced, well-rounded & technically astute commercial-electric project manager & leader who will join our BoMark Team!
Not just someone who talks the talk but truly has a track record of excellence and success. The type of PM that is passionate about the electrical industry and building great things.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record on profitability, quality standards, and effective relationship building, while mentoring the team & project leaders. Familiarity with Baltimore industry Business and the surrounding counties. Last, but not least, we are seeking a leader who is always keeping an eye out for innovative ways to increase our performance, efficiencies and successes on all levels.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 5 years of project management experience in the Commercial Electrical Trade
- Understand engineering in electric power
- Field experience coordinating with construction management
- Extensive Knowledge of project scheduling, bids, take offs, change orders, and contracts
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships and assist in winning projects
- Demonstrated ability to run a profitable portfolio
- Exceptional initiative, execution and communication skills, both oral and written
- Exceptional analytical, motivational, and leadership skills
- Journeyman or Master Electrician’s license a Plus!

With offices in Hampstead and Savage Maryland, our professional staff of experienced project managers, estimators, assistant project managers, master electricians and RCDDs have been providing our customers exceptional service and quality workmanship in a wide array of projects including new construction, renovation, education, universities, healthcare facilities, office & tenant fit-outs, and general service / maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- The PM is responsible for supervising teams of Foremen/General Foreman and Mechanics in the execution of electrical projects and installations.
- Bid & Gain Projects, Coordinate production and represent BoMark Electric in project meetings with other trade contractors to avoid conflicts and ensure BoMark Electric’s scopes of work stay on schedule.
- Build and maintain relationships with the customer, inspectors and other trades.
- Lays out work, schedules personnel, coordinates tools and materials for jobs.
- Ensures BoMark Electric team members are following company policy and procedures.
- Ensures installations meet project scope, NEC, and BoMark Electric standards for code and quality.
- Ensures BoMark Electric teams are following all safety rules and takes appropriate action if safety hazards are identified.
- Ensures housekeeping and clean-up at project sites is maintained.
- Ensures BoMark Electric teams are completing all project reports and paperwork as required.
- Assists with project billing as requested.
- Train, manage and evaluate project team members.
- Supports the training and career development of helpers, mechanics and foremen.

- Ability to maintain clean and safe work areas.
- Have dependable transportation.
- Have knowledge of material and proper use and installation.

- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
- Computer savvy, comfortable with Microsoft Office Programs, Outlook & Bidding/Estimating Software.
