Job Description A highly regarded, award-winning General Contractor focusing on delivering Mission Critical Projects across various sectors, is currently seeking an ambitious and driven Electrical Project Manager for a high-profile Data Centre project in Frankfurt. Ideally, candidates will have experience working as an Electrical Project Manager on large-scale industrial projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to bolster your resume by working on one of the company’s flagship projects. Please note that you would be employed under the host country employment law. On offer is a competitive salary + accommodation + flights + travel + bonus. Electrical Project Manager Responsibilities: Management of all day-to-day site operations. Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and staffing levels. Ensure that there are weekly minuted meetings with subcontractors. Ensure direct labour hours and sub-contractor hours are reported to the time administrator for tracking centrally. Attendance at site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning and coordination meetings, and handover meetings. Assistance with the close out of all project items including Final Account, O & M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, Material and Plant relocations, Project Plan – all with the support of the site project manager. Ensure your team contributes to the internal weekly progress report rolled up from project supervisors report. Review the weekly progress report before it is issued to all stakeholders. Highlight areas not available, delays, design issues, and third-party delays. Close out of all project items including Final Account, O & M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, Material and Plant relocations, Project Plan – all with the support of your project team. Record weekly safety stats & project labour projections. Ensure that there are weekly commercial meetings with the commercial team to ensure all variations are being captured and costs issued to the client. Develop and implement company procedures with the package managers. Electrical Project Manager Requirements: A trade background and 3 – 7 years previous experience managing large installation projects and sub-contractors. In-depth knowledge of Health, Safety and Quality compliance. Experienced in design and build. Excellent technical knowledge of Electrical systems. Ability to work well within strict deadlines.
