RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our UK agency is searching for an Electrical Engineer M/F as Contract and Technical Leader to take part in HPC\’s technical modification. The position will be based in Bristol , in a permanent contract .

  • Leading the contribution of the Electrical discipline to the modification, from the instruction phase until its closure, assigning actions to various groups within the Electrical discipline and directly liaising with engineers. Group leaders maintain an overview of requests to guide, support, and track the overall workload.
  • Verifying the content and coherence of the contributions submitted by the discipline, ensuring the accuracy of the data presented in the contributions.
  • Overseeing progress, supporting the lead, and ensuring the necessary reporting, including writing summary notes.
  • Organizing ad hoc meetings to request Immediate Actions for implementation, to allow for the early integration of ongoing modifications into electrical discipline deliverables.
  • Maintaining a current list of ongoing and applicable modifications and ensuring their implementation.
  • Participating in meetings to share open points and technical queries.
  • Analyzing the applicability of Flamanville\’s modifications on Hinkley Point C.
  • Monthly reporting of tracking indicators (KPIs) for open items for the Electrical discipline, in collaboration with another member of the configuration team.

BACKGROUND AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • A master\’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
  • Knowledge of the RCC-E electrical technical regulations and the technical reference system (NFC15-100 / NF C 13-200 / BS7671 / IEC 60909)
  • Knowledge of the nuclear field via school curriculum or professional experience
  • Knowledge of the processes involved in industrial projects in the energy field
  • A 2 to 3 years experience in Technical coordination or Project management role
