We now have an opportunity for a Data Scientist (DS3) to join our Analytics team. As a Data Scientist (DS3), you will play a crucial role in Ocado Logistics' research focus, providing technical excellence and driving high-quality data solutions. You will be a key contributor to your team’s delivery, ensuring that our analytics capabilities support business decisions effectively.
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Defining research scope, delivery approach, and ensuring high-quality outputs.
- Leading data science initiatives within your area, mentoring junior team members, and shaping best practices.
- Working closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, validate assumptions, and define effective solutions.
- Querying data using SQL and other tools, applying advanced statistical techniques, and ensuring data quality.
- Developing and maintaining production-ready models, following software engineering best practices.
- Communicating technical findings effectively through reports, visualizations, and presentations.
