For our client , we are looking for a highly skilled and results-driven Data Migration Architect with extensive experience delivering large-scale data migration projects in the telecommunications industry. You will play a pivotal role in designing, planning, and implementing complex data migration solutions, ensuring data accuracy, seamless transitions, and minimal disruption. As a hands-on technical expert and strategic leader, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, future-ready solutions that align with our evolving business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Solution Design
- Develop comprehensive data migration strategies and roadmaps tailored to business goals.
- Architect end-to-end data migration frameworks, including ETL/ELT processes.
- Establish data quality standards, cleansing procedures, and validation protocols.
- Assess legacy systems, data sources, and migration challenges while identifying opportunities.
- Select and implement the most suitable tools and technologies for efficient migration.
Project Execution & Implementation
- Lead all phases of data migration, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
- Oversee the development of ETL/ELT workflows and data transformation logic.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation to guarantee data accuracy and completeness.
- Proactively manage risks and resolve issues to ensure smooth project execution.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to prepare target systems for successful data migration.
Telecommunications Expertise
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of telecom data models, regulatory frameworks, and industry practices.
- Manage the migration of data related to customer information, network inventory, billing, and service provisioning .
- Handle the transition from legacy telecom platforms to modern cloud-based solutions.
- Demonstrate expertise in OSS/BSS, CRM, and network management systems .
Leadership & Collaboration
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to migration teams, ensuring excellence in delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across functions, including analysts, developers, and project managers.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences to drive alignment.
- Build and maintain vendor relationships, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements.
