Contracts Manager – Structural Steel – Dewsbury

We are recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager with strong structural steel experience. This role is based in Dewsbury and requires at least 5 years\’ experience in construction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Act as the main client contact, attending meetings and managing communication.
2. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
3. Produce contract programmes, construction plans, and H&S documentation.
4. Manage subcontractors and internal teams for design and drawing processes.
5. Handle variations, advising clients on cost and programme impacts.
6. Oversee financial performance to maximise profitability.
7. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues.
8. Liaise with main contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure smooth delivery.

Skills & Experience

1. Minimum 5 years\’ construction experience; structural steel experience essential .
2. Strong understanding of fabrication and erection/site processes.
3. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
