Job Description

PRG are currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager on behalf of our client. You will be responsible for delivering CFA piling and foundation solutions across the Midlands and Northern UK regions. With a reputation for excellence and innovation, our client takes pride in every project, from concept to completion.

The Role: As a Piling Contracts Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing multiple piling contracts from start to finish.

You’ll oversee projects to ensure they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining high-quality standards and exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and oversee all aspects of piling contracts, from pre-construction through to completion.
  2. Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring key milestones are met.
  3. Monitor and manage budgets, resources, and project costs.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  5. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
  6. Coordinate and manage project teams, including engineers, supervisors, and operatives.
  7. Provide technical and commercial guidance to project teams.
  8. Handle variations, progress reports, and final accounts with clients and stakeholders.
  9. Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the contract lifecycle.

Key Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or in a similar role within the piling or foundation sector.
  2. Strong technical knowledge of piling techniques, including CFA and SFA piles, or other relevant methods.
  3. Excellent understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards.
  4. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams effectively.
  5. Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  6. Commercial awareness and experience managing project finances.
  7. Proficient in project management tools and software.
  8. Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to sites as required.
