Allen & York are thrilled to be working with a leading European Economics Consultancy, helping clients engage with authorities and courts in a full spectrum of competition proceedings. Our client is looking for a proactive economist to join the established team.

Working closely with fellow economists, the successful candidate will be involved with multiple important, complex and high-profile projects in varied sectors and industries. You'll hold a postgraduate degree in economics, microeconomics, econometrics or a related field with a specific interest in industrial organisation and competition policy, together with in-depth knowledge of standard statistical software, such as Stata.

With an excellent command of English, you'll have strong drafting and communication skills and enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues and clients. A creative thinker, you'll be enthusiastic and empathetic. Programming skills and a minimum B1 level at German and Dutch would be advantageous to this role.
