Responsibilities
- Working as part of the Marketing team, you will be supporting the existing Graphic Designer with creating and editing original artwork in line with promotional projects and brand specifications.
- The role will be varied and usually involves a variety of formats and channels, designing artwork for websites and digital media, as well as sales collateral and print proofs.
- Often working alongside our external creative marketing agency, you will need to have a superb eye for detail, be curious to learn and be able to follow specific standards and specifications, in-line with the global brand guidelines.
Requirements
- Support the development of marketing collateral in all formats including branded templates for social media channels, social media advertising, websites, sales collateral, business cards, quotes templates etc.
- Amend and update existing design files to a given specification/brief.
- Work from templates and style guides to produce accurate and consistent artwork across many different media and formats.
- Update an in-house image library and digital asset management system.
- Set up, manage and archive accurate artwork files and supply to relevant stakeholders.
- Output final print-ready artwork according to briefing and technical requirements.
- Work with external suppliers including marketing agencies and printing companies.
- Carry out proof checking prior to print.
- Curate and create corporate designs across a range of formats using Adobe Creative Cloud and programmes such as Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
- Support the Graphic Designer with larger creative projects.
- Support any areas where required within the marketing and product management team and supporting other areas in the business.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
- Basic knowledge/experience in Adobe Creative Cloud suite including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- A formal qualification - ideally at Degree level in a creative, graphic design subject.
- The ability to understand and follow corporate guidelines.
- Ability to follow creative direction and instructions as well as work on own initiative.
- Methodical approach to filing and archiving artwork files.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Creative with a keen eye for detail.
- Positive attitude and keen to learn.
- Great team ethic.
