The Role at a Glance
We’re recruiting a Territory Manager to manage and grow one of our convenience clients in East London and Surrounding areas. You’ll build strong relationships with store decision‑makers, negotiate additional displays, increase distribution and visibility, and drive sales for well‑known household brands. This role is ideal for someone with field sales or direct selling experience who enjoys autonomy, building relationships, and seeing the direct impact of your work in store. What You’ll Be Doing
As a Territory Manager, you’ll manage your own territory, working closely with the Regional Sales Manager and a friendly, supportive field team. Your key responsibilities include:
- Managing a FMCG Convenience territory and planning visits around store manager availability to maximise opportunities
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with store managers and key decision‑makers
- Negotiating additional displays and promotional activity
- Driving distribution, availability and compliance across agreed product ranges
- Executing merchandising activity in line with brand guidelines
- Actively selling and promoting products to maximise sales and visibility
- Using sales data to track performance and identify growth opportunities
What We’re Looking For
We are ideally looking for a candidate who has the following skills and experience, but if you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t align perfectly, we still encourage you to apply - you might be just the right person for our team. You’ll need:
- Experience working in field sales or similar role
- Strong communication skills and confidence influencing stakeholders
- Stakeholder management experience
- Excellent time management and territory planning ability
- Be self-motivated and results-driven
- A full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points and no previous bans)
Nice to Have:
- Experience working in convenience sector
- Merchandising or POS execution experience
- Direct selling skills
