Introducing Zinc Network. For over fifteen years, Zinc Network has been helping clients navigate complex challenges at the intersection of security, technology, and behaviour change. Working in partnership with a global network of media, communities, and influencers, we help clients understand the most complex issues, design behavioural interventions, create compelling campaigns, activate trusted grassroots networks, and evaluate impact. That’s what we do today for governments, NGOs, and private sector partners working on some of the toughest briefs: protecting children online, strengthening democratic resilience, and championing purpose-driven technologies and organisations.
We’re now building Kora — our AI-powered platform that systematises this expertise into scalable technology, making interventions faster and more cost-effective whilst enabling clients and grassroots partners to design and deliver them independently. The world is becoming increasingly complex — with accelerating technology, evolving security threats, and shifting geopolitical and economic dynamics. That’s where you’ll find Zinc: tackling the trickiest challenges where these forces collide and driving impact on the issues that matter most.
About the role. Are you a creative thinker with the hands-on skills to bring bold ideas to life across different social platforms? Zinc Network is expanding its talent pool for Social Content Specialists; hybrid content strategists and makers who can turn audience insights and campaign briefs into engaging, platform-native content, from Stories to GIFs, polls to Reels. In this role, you’ll be responsible for turning our big-picture creative concepts into reality across different social platforms. You’ll brainstorm content ideas, develop visual styles and tone of voice, and produce high-quality content across video and static social formats. From writing punchy copy to creating short-form videos and graphics, you’ll craft stories that resonate with audiences and drive real-world impact. This is an opportunity to work on purpose-driven campaigns that tackle issues of global importance. If you’re versatile, trend-aware, and thrive at the intersection of content strategy and creativity, we want you in our pool of go-to specialists.
Key responsibilities:
- Interpret briefs and recommend content approaches tailored to objectives, platforms (aspect ratios, placements, safe zones), and audience insights.
- Contribute original ideas in brainstorms and project meetings, shaping campaign narratives and social storytelling.
- Design and produce social-first content across video and static formats, from short-form videos, animations, and explainers to graphics, carousels, and shareable cards, ensuring all outputs are optimised for various platforms, while staying aligned with campaign goals and brand guidelines.
- Repurpose existing creative into fresh formats, ensuring assets are audience-relevant, accessible, and platform-native.
- Tailor all content to the specific requirements of each platform, applying best practices for formats, safe zones, accessibility, and native tone of voice.
- Write clear, impactful on-screen copy and social captions that enhance engagement.
- Stay up to date with evolving content trends, platform updates, and audience behaviours to keep creative fresh, effective and relevant.
- Work closely with designers, strategists, researchers, and campaign teams, responding to feedback and iterating on assets to deliver high-quality final outputs.
Requirements:
- Strong eye for design, motion, and narrative, with confidence in presenting ideas.
- Understanding of what drives engagement on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Telegram, and emerging platforms.
- Proven ability to develop social-first content that is both imaginative and strategic.
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Premiere and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with excellent time management.
- Ability to adapt creative approaches to diverse audiences, with awareness of sociopolitical contexts.
Why Zinc?
