Zinc & Copper Roofing LTD is seeking an Estimator located in Greater Manchester. The salary is experience dependent, with additional benefits including a car allowance and pension contribution.
As an Estimator, you will play a vital role within the business by overseeing and submitting quotations. You will collaborate closely with the Directors to strategically shape the company's growth trajectory. A strong initiative and passion for the industry, along with a drive for sustainability, are ideal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for projects in line with client requirements.
- Actively seek opportunities for business development, fostering new client relationships.
- Generate timely and well-structured quotes to meet customer demands.
- Expand and develop the role, helping to market the brand and company, including via social media and our website.
- Manage the inbox and monitor responses for potential projects and client enquiries.
- Monitor ongoing projects from a cost perspective.
Qualifications And Experience:
- Degree-level education in a relevant field is preferred.
- 1 year experience in estimating within the construction industry is desired.
- Ability to read from drawings.
- Experience with CAD.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams and clients effectively.
- Hard working and reliable.
- Flexible to suit business needs.
- Strong sense of initiative.
