We are seeking a talented and experienced Estimator to join our team on a flagship rail project in Leeds, UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and supporting the bid team during the tendering process.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for a variety of rail projects.
- Analyze plans and specifications, gather data, and research materials and labor costs.
- Attend site visits and gather information to inform cost estimates.
- Collaborate with internal teams and sub-contractors to ensure that estimates are comprehensive and accurate.
- Provide cost advice to the bid team and support the development of value engineering proposals.
- Ensure that estimates comply with company procedures and relevant regulations.
