What You Can Expect
The position is responsible for the Facilities and Health & Safety Management supporting all UK entities and Ireland Commercial.
How You'll Create Impact
- Oversee scheduling of routine maintenance
- Contract management for facilities related vendors
- Vendor set ups
- Waste Management
- Attend Supplier review Board as comm ops representative
- Business Continuity plan - reviewer and facilitator
- Facilities invoice approval
- Landlord liaison - Comm ops Bridgend site and Swindon site
- Attend Stella Building Residents committee, Swindon
- Collate Plastic tax calculations and data submission for UK
- Collate EPR calculations and data submission to third party
- Facilitate ESOS plan (Energy Savings Opportunity Plan) via Third party
- Collate SECR data and submission (Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting) via Third party
- Lead and guide all health and safety committees across the ZB UK Ltd and Biomet UK Healthcare Ltd sites and N3 in Ireland, offering advice and guidance and interacting where necessary with third parties including H&S audits
- Fire safety - training, arranging fire risk assessments with external vendor
- Oversee implementation of Risk assessments in all areas of business
- New starter EHS inductions
- Incident investigations
- Contractor management - including Issuing Permits to work & checking contractor RAMS (risk assessment and method statements)
- Chair monthly Health and safety committees, Bridgend and Swindon
- Oversee Employee risk management training and assessment program via third party (Cardinus)
- Perform second level DSE (Display Screen Equipment) assessments when required (qualified assessor)
- ADHOC health and safety requests (NEBOSH qualified)
- Node 2 H&S KPI reporting

- NEBOSH General certificate
- Experience of SAP

Travel Expectations
About 20% required to attend business meetings, visiting all sites in scope and relevant training courses.
