The International Demand Planner is responsible for developing and managing demand forecasts across multiple global regions using historical data, statistical modeling, and commercial inputs. This role partners closely with regional Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply teams to understand market dynamics, align assumptions, and deliver a consensus forecast that supports revenue commitments and inventory strategies. The role plays a key part in the Integrated Business Planning (IBP)/ Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by driving forecast alignment, improving demand visibility, and identifying risks and opportunities across the global portfolio.
How You'll Create Impact
- Partner with regional Sales, Marketing, and Commercial teams (e.g., Americas, EMEA, APAC) to gather market intelligence, demand drivers, and strategic assumptions.
- Develop and maintain statistical and consensus forecasts at product line, country, and regional levels, ensuring alignment with financial targets and business strategies.
- Monitor forecast performance, analyze forecast accuracy and bias, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across regions.
- Identify risks and opportunities to revenue and supply plans; communicate impacts and recommend actions to cross‐functional stakeholders.
- Coordinate product lifecycle planning, including new product introductions, phase‐in/phase‐out, and demand cannibalization across markets.
- Ensure alignment between demand plans, revenue targets, and inventory strategies; escape gaps and facilitate mitigation plans.
- Support and actively participate in the global IBP/S&OP process, including scenario analysis and executive reporting.
- Collaborate with Supply Planning to ensure demand signals are clearly translated into supply requirements.
- Support ERP/advanced planning system enhancements and data governance initiatives.
- Provide ad‐hoc analysis, reporting, and insights to support strategic decision‐making.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Experience managing multi‐region or global product forecasts.
- Strong knowledge of S&OP or IBP processes and cross‐functional planning alignment.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; experience with planning systems (e.g., SAP, IBP, or similar).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across multiple time zones and cultures.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem‐solving ability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate independently and manage competing priorities in a fast‐paced environment.
Your Background
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Analytics, or related field required.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in forecasting, data analysis, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
- Medical Device or regulated industry experience preferred.
Travel Expectations
Less than 15% of overnight travel.
