Supply Chain Lead

We’re looking for a Supply Chain Lead to take ownership of Zima Dental’s global supply chain and lead it into its next phase of growth. This is a rare opportunity to step into a role with real influence shaping how our product batches are planned, moved, and delivered as we scale in volume, complexity, and global reach. This role sits at the heart of the business. You won’t be inheriting a static machine; you’ll be building and evolving it. From global demand forecasting to freight and 3PL management across our 5 international regions, you’ll define the systems, processes, and standards that allow us to scale confidently.

As the business grows, this role naturally expands into building and leading a supply chain team around you. As we scale internationally, your work will directly determine our ability to maintain high service levels while increasing complexity across channels and regions. You’ll be the person who creates visibility, resilience, and efficiency across the entire supply chain. This is not a purely operational role. It’s a blend of strategy and execution, ideal for someone who wants real ownership. You’ll work closely with Growth, Commercial, and Marketplace teams, ensuring supply chain decisions actively drive business performance rather than react to it. Key Responsibilities

• Global Supply Chain Ownership: Own the end-to-end supply chain across all products and regions, from batch creation through to final delivery. Ensure consistent product availability while balancing inventory health.
• Forecasting & Planning: Lead demand forecasting across channels and regions, incorporating marketplace data, commercial plans, and seasonality. Translate forecasts into clear production, purchasing, and logistics plans. Continuously refine forecasting accuracy and planning processes as the business scales. Manage international freight across air, sea, and road, optimising for cost, speed, and reliability. Continuously improve relationships with third-party logistics providers and freight forwarders across all regions. Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks, delays, and bottlenecks.
• 3PL & Regional Operations: Optimise third-party logistics partners globally as we expand. Ensure SLAs, stock accuracy, service levels and pricing agreements are consistently adhered to. Strategise new regional warehouse and national node launches. Optimise our packaging and shipping rules to achieve significant cost reductions.
• Systems & Process Improvement: Enhance supply chain reporting, dashboards, and KPIs to improve visibility and decision-making. Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, resilience, and scalability.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Commercial, Marketplaces, Growth, and Finance to align supply with business priorities. Support product launches, promotions, and peak trading periods with robust supply planning. Act as the supply chain subject-matter expert within the business. Evaluate the performance of the supply chain team and support their development through structured, ongoing feedback. Define and execute the long-term strategy for the supply chain function, including contributing to hiring and team expansion where appropriate.

What we’re looking for

• Experience: 4+ years’ experience in supply chain within consumer goods. Hands-on experience managing international production, freight, and 3PLs. Significant experience working with or implementing an ERP system. Exposure to multi-SKU, multi-region and multi-channel supply chains.
• Skills: Strong planning, forecasting, and analytical capabilities. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and follow-through. Confident managing external partners and internal stakeholders. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
• Mindset: Proactive, ownership-driven, and solutions-oriented. Commercially aware, understanding how supply chain decisions impact growth and customer experience. Adaptable and calm under pressure, especially during peak periods.
• Bonus: Experience in premium consumer goods, wellness, or health categories. Exposure to Shopify, Amazon FBA and international retailer supply chains. Experience working with suppliers based in China. Experience in supplier sourcing & vetting.
