About the role
We are currently looking for a highly motivated Senior P&C Administrator to join our busy global P&C team. Due to the nature of this role, there is an expectation you will come into the Canary Wharf office once per week.
This role is pivotal to maintaining the positive employee experience we are proud of at ZILO. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration of new starter, leavers, and any changes that occur during the employee lifecycle, as well as supporting with the UK payroll. As such, you will be hands-on, detail-oriented and have a passion for learning. You will also support with Learning and Development and training workshops and delivery of new starter inductions. You will be a self-starter, who is able to manage competing priorities with ease. No two days at ZILO are the same so you will need to enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Completing general HR and payroll administration, including employee benefit administration and background screening.
- Coordinating the onboarding and induction process, including meeting new starters on Day 1 in the office to conduct Right to Work checks and managing the probation review process.
- Delivering inductions and training sessions for new starters on payroll and HR systems.
- Drafting offer/contracts and letters for employees.
- Supporting with recruitment e.g. posting job adverts, shortlisting CVs, scheduling interviews and managing candidate communications.
- Reporting on key metrics such as time to hire, retention, turnover and DEI each month.
- Analysing employee data for insights/commentary.
- Analysing ROI for external training sessions.
- Reviewing survey feedback and producing an executive summary.
- Coordinating training sessions and workshops on P&C topics, as well as drafting training schedules.
- Drafting and reviewing company policies in line with statutory changes.
- Supporting with P&C projects such as salary benchmarking.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and solutions.
- Answering general employee queries.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor\’s degree in human resources, CIPD level 3+ or a related field is preferred but not essential.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a HR administration/co-ordination role, which includes at least 1 year of payroll administration.
- Knowledge of HR and pay-related policies, employment law, and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels of an organisation.
- Excellent time management skills, ability to deliver on tasks/projects within agreed timelines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional written/verbal communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems.
- HRIS and ATS experience system experience (preferably with experience using Hibob and or Workable).
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- A proactive approach and a willingness to learn and adapt.
