Requirements
Role Overview
We are looking for a strategically minded PMO (Project Management Office) professional to oversee project governance, delivery assurance, and portfolio alignment across business units. The PMO will serve as the backbone of project discipline—ensuring that processes, controls, and reporting frameworks are embedded to deliver value across the organisation. Please note this role will require regular attendance at our London office.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor delivery health across programmes, projects, and initiatives
- Maintain an enterprise-level view of project alignment with strategic objectives
- Monitor delivery of Statement of Work commitments and budgets
- Establish and evolve PMO standards, templates, and methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, MSP, Six Sigma)
- Define and embed best practices in planning, tracking, and risk management
- Provide C-level stakeholders with visibility into project progress, risks, budgets and dependencies
- Design and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reporting cadences
- Support workforce planning, demand forecasting, and allocation decisions
- Track resource utilisation and capacity across delivery teams
- Perform delivery reviews to ensure adherence to governance
- Flag at-risk projects or initiatives lacking structure
- Own and manage PMO tooling infrastructure (e.g. Jira, MS Project, portfolio systems)
- Drive automation of reporting and workflow orchestration where possible
- Drive AI adoption across Project Delivery
- Coach and support project managers in adopting delivery best practices
- Lead onboarding of new delivery leads or PMs into the governance framework
Experience Required
8+ years\’ experience managing and supporting cross-functional projects using methodologies like Agile or PRINCE2, with proven skills in project governance, portfolio management, and reporting. Proficiency in tools such as MS Project, Jira, Power BI, and Excel is essential, along with the ability to drive process improvements and ensure compliance. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills are key, and relevant certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, or PMO-CP are highly desirable. Experience in setting up PMO functions or working in regulated environments is a plus.

Highly organised, with strong attention to process integrity and standardisation. Strong Excel, reporting, and portfolio management tool expertise. Familiarity with the use of AI technologies to streamline project workflows, optimise planning, and automate delivery tasks—enhancing team productivity and focus.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with enterprise planning tools (e.g., Clarity, Planview). Familiarity with audit and regulatory requirements in programme delivery. Project/programme certifications (e.g., PMP, MSP, SAFe Agilist).
