The Role: The role reports to the Director of Performance Marketing and is responsible for driving incremental profitable user & transactional value (Gross Merchandise Value) growth via Performance Marketing channels, working collaboratively with the wider cross functional Growth team.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Contribute to Performance Marketing Strategy across Paid Social, Paid App, Paid Search & Programmatic advertising channels and landing page optimisation, to drive profitable incremental user acquisition & retention, supporting the Director of Performance Marketing.
- Own Performance Marketing targets & budgets for acquisition & retention, working closely with senior Marketing, Growth & Finance leadership on forecasting, planning & optimisation.
- Proactively identify growth opportunities in existing & new channels, propose new initiatives to test, run experiments across creative, media buying and signals, report on outcomes and provide recommendations/iterative improvements.
- Own Paid Social creative strategy and analysis, working closely with the in-house design team and external video agency to produce high-performing ads.
- Hands on campaign planning, execution, optimisation & reporting.
- Keep on top of latest performance marketing trends & tools to improve efficiency and impact of performance marketing, and wider marketing & design team.
- Cross functional collaboration with wider marketing & design function, as well as data, product, engineering, sales, finance & risk teams to improve outcomes for customers, merchants & Zilch.
We're Looking for:
- Proven performance marketer who is both strategic & hands on, ideally in rapidly growing scale up environments with experience of managing multi-million pound annual budgets.
- Significant Paid Social & Paid App advertising experience, especially with creative optimisation.
- Experience in landing page & customer journey optimisation to ensure users have cohesive experience and ultimately improve acquisition conversion rates.
- Proactive, user-centric, commercially astute and data-driven approach to problem solving & identification of opportunities.
- Experience with different experimentation / measurement techniques & tools in performance marketing to understand incremental impact of activity & spend.
- Exceptional communication & stakeholder management, with the ability to summarise deeply technical & analytical topics to more strategic & commercial stakeholders.
- Specific required platform experience: Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Google Ads, Bing Ads, Apple Search Ads, Google Analytics, Appsflyer.
- Productivity tools: Microsoft Office suite.
- Desirable but not essential: Programmatic (Display & Video) and / or fintech industry experience, use of AI to improve performance marketing workflows and performance.
