The role.

Finance plays a critical role as custodians of the financial resources of Zilch alongside helping the business report against our success and plan for growth. The FP&A function is at the heart of ensuring we are on track against the financial goals of Zilch. We give insights beyond just financials; we collaborate across functions and help drive the right decisions. Due to continued growth in the team and Zilch overall we are recruiting a FP&A Manager.

Day to day responsibilities.

  • Develop and maintain forward looking models to drive business decisions (Anaplan; Excel)
  • Contribute meaningfully towards the rolling forecast and budgeting cycles
  • Prepare commercial focused for our Board, Investors and Leadership Team
  • Act as a subject matter expert on all things forecasting (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cashflow) including acting as a conduit between Financial Reporting, Strategic Finance, Treasury, Data and Leadership
  • Help drive the adoption of Anaplan across the business through proactive change management and considered development of end-to-end processes
  • Perform detailed analysis challenging status quo thinking
  • Business partner across all levels and functions, helping drive the right commercial outcome
  • Maintain dashboards and API data integrations for Anaplan encouraging self-serving reporting and cross functional collaboration
  • Collaborate with others in Finance to analyse and understand performance

What we\’re looking for…

  • Excellent financial modelling skills including building forward looking models
  • Someone who can forge strong relationships across the business to ensure FP&A goals are met
  • Track record of building enduring FP&A processes
  • Strong communicator who can translate financial jargon into digestible chunks
  • Proven ability to analyse information using business intelligence tools
  • A relevant qualification or Degree in accounting/finance or numerically orientated field
  • Strong accounting knowledge and financial reporting experience
  • A dedication to high quality visually appealing work
  • Comfortable with a hands-on collaborative approach to work involving attending the office in a hybrid working environment
  • A driven individual who is keen to develop with the team and company
  • Team player with a friendly, positive mindset
  • Anaplan experience is highly desirable however not essential; we recognise not everyone has had exposure to this tool. You will be expected to complete Level I Anaplan Model Builder course within a reasonable time of joining the team, allowing you to contribute meaningfully.
  • SQL experience (we work closely with Data however some ability to self-serve is required)
  • Understanding of unit economics
