There are some exciting projects coming up and we’ve got big growth plans.

About The Role

This is an entry‑level role for someone at the start of their career who is genuinely excited about both finance and data. You’ll be joining a small, experienced Finance Analytics team and getting hands‑on exposure to financial reporting, data processes, and analytics from day one. A large part of this role will involve supporting the team with day‑to‑day tasks and manual processes while we build out automation. That means you’ll see exactly how things work under the hood - and play an active part in improving them. We’ll invest in your development and give you the tools, mentorship, and context to grow quickly.

Day To Day Responsibilities

  • Day‑to‑Day Support: Assist with recurring manual processes across financial reporting and data operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and support month‑end activities including data checks, reconciliations, and reporting outputs.
  • Data & Reporting: Run SQL queries to extract, check, and prepare financial data for reporting and analysis, and help maintain dashboards and reporting tools, flagging anomalies and data quality issues as they arise.
  • Finance Operations: Support reconciliation processes across revenue, cash, and other financial datasets, and assist with the documentation of processes and data definitions to support the team’s control environment.
  • Learning & Growth: Work closely with senior team members to understand end‑to‑end finance data flows, and contribute to automation and improvement initiatives as your skills and confidence develop.

What We’re Looking For…

  • Education: A degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related analytical discipline.
  • SQL & Data Skills: Basic SQL skills, a strong willingness and demonstrable aptitude to learn quickly.
  • Excel: Solid Excel skills - comfortable working with large datasets, formulas, and pivot tables.
  • Finance Interest: A genuine interest in both financial reporting and data.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and pride in the accuracy of your work.
  • Communication: Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to working in a team.

Bonus Skills

  • Some exposure to financial services, fintech, or a data‑driven business environment.
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Experience with or awareness of ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite) or data warehouse platforms.
  • Any coursework, projects, or self‑study in data analytics or financial accounting.

About You

  • You’re eager to learn. You ask questions, take notes, and want to understand the why behind everything.
  • You’re reliable. The team will count on you for recurring tasks and you take that responsibility seriously.
  • You’re comfortable with detail. You spot things others miss and you care about getting it right.
  • You’re adaptable. In a fast‑moving team, priorities shift - and you move with them without losing focus.
  • You’re ambitious. This is a stepping stone, and you’re motivated to grow into more.

  • Permanent employees enjoy access to our Share Options Scheme.
  • 5% back on in‑app purchases.
