Position Overview:
We are in search of a Carrier Manager who resonates with our Purpose, Vision, and Values and is eager to contribute to a team where these principles are more than words – they guide our actions. Key Responsibilities:
- Own the operational relationship with & be the business expert for your carriers
- Ensure they deliver best-in-class performance for service, cost & customer experience
- Be the escalation point for carrier service issues, implementing & managing improvement plans where required
- Manage strategic relationships with logistics carriers, negotiating contracts, ensuring service quality and cost efficiency, and developing capacity plans for transportation needs in peak
- Support other ZigZag teams with their understanding of your carriers, their services & suitability as a partner for existing or new business opportunities
- Maintain the carrier information packs for your carrier portfolio keeping up to date with new carrier services, contribute to business cases for new carrier integrations, routes, services & solutions
- Partner with Sales, Implementation & Customer Success teams on new accounts, new or improved solutions or services
- Analyse, document & critique business & client processes, understand the requirements & play an active role in defining the most effective returns solution.
- Prepare & present regular carrier performance & related reports, complete ad-hoc or administrative tasks as required.

What you’ll need to be successful
- Carrier, Account, Contract or Supply Chain Management in retail, e-commerce or high- volume logistics.
- Experience implementing new carriers / carrier services
- Excellent commercial awareness & customer service skills
- Strong negotiation and leadership skills
- Detail oriented, solutions focused approach
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple competing priorities and projects in a fast- paced operation
