We're looking for our next Finance Business Partner to join our dynamic Rental Operations team! In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Northgate Senior Finance Business Partner to deliver insightful financial advice and analytical decision support to the UK Operations Director and their management team. By building robust relationships, you will act as a trusted adviser, significantly enhancing decision‑making processes to ensure the sustainable success of our business. Your ability to challenge the status quo and develop innovative solutions will be key to driving our company's growth.
As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Northgate Senior Finance Business Partner to drive business performance improvements. You will leverage your analytical, commercial, and communication skills to identify opportunities and mitigate risks. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting performance analysis
- Enhancing financial and KPI reporting frameworks
- Leading the annual and periodic forecasting processes for Rental Operations
Your insights will transform data into valuable information, guiding strategic decisions for Northgate and Auxillus operations, including our workshops. In addition, you will provide comprehensive analytical support for Rental Operations, focusing on KPI and P&L performance analysis to optimise financial outcomes and FTE efficiency. You will oversee monthly reporting, offering relevant insights and commentary on both financial and non‑financial performance indicators. Furthermore, you will lead and develop a team of 1 qualified and 2 part‑qualified accountants.

About You:
First and foremost you will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) with solid business partnering experience and the ability to offer value‑adding insight. You’ll have a commercial awareness and understand the key drivers of our business and how they interact. You’ll have experience of establishing professional and positive relationships with a range of stakeholders of varying seniority, with an ability to influence stakeholders towards positive outcomes. Any knowledge of vehicle rental or experience in supporting a multi‑site operational function is advantageous but not essential, and you may have experience across a variety of sectors with transferable skills.
