Are you ready to take on a high-profile role that combines financial expertise with strategic influence? Our Commercial Finance Business Partner position offers a unique opportunity to provide financial advice and analytical decision support to the Managing Director of our FMG businesses (part of ZIGUP group) and their senior teams. In this role, you’ll build strong relationships, act as a trusted adviser, and contribute significantly to improving decision-making, ensuring the sustainable success of our business.

Your ability to challenge the status quo and develop innovative solutions will be key. Supported by two direct reports, you will lead the forecasting process for FMG volumes, revenue, and overhead costs, as well as oversee the production of monthly reporting packs, providing valuable insight and commentary on financial and non-financial performance indicators.

Working closely with the commercial team, you will conduct periodic reviews of customer profitability and provide guidance on maximizing revenue and controlling costs. Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, you will drive financial performance through new initiatives, product development, and ad-hoc project support.

Your role will include providing proactive pricing support to the FMG New Business teams and analytical assistance for contract renewals and additional product promotions. You will support the commercial team through internal pricing reviews, articulating risks and opportunities. Additionally, you will develop and maintain pricing models, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data inputs, and perform financial evaluations to understand the impacts of pricing actions on customer profitability.

About You: First and foremost you will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) with solid business-partnering experience and the ability to offer value-adding insight. You’ll have commercial awareness and understand the key drivers of our business and how they interact. You’ll have experience of establishing professional and positive relationships with a range of stakeholders of varying seniority, with an ability to influence stakeholders towards positive outcomes.
