Position Overview
We're looking for our next Finance Business Partner to join our dynamic Rental Operations team! In this role you will collaborate closely with the Northgate Senior Finance Business Partner to deliver insightful financial advice and analytical decision support to the UK Operations Director and their management team. You will build robust relationships and act as a trusted adviser, enhancing decision‑making processes to ensure the sustainable success of our business. Your ability to challenge the status quo and develop innovative solutions will be key to driving the company’s growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Support performance analysis, enhance financial and KPI reporting frameworks, and lead the annual and periodic forecasting processes for Rental Operations.
- Identify opportunities and mitigate risks by leveraging analytical, commercial, and communication skills.
- Provide comprehensive analytical support for Rental Operations, focusing on KPI and P&L performance analysis to optimise financial outcomes and FTE efficiency.
- Oversee monthly reporting, offering relevant insights and commentary on both financial and non‑financial performance indicators.
- Lead and develop a team of one qualified and two part‑qualified accountants.
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) with solid business‑partnering experience and the ability to offer value‑adding insight.
- Strong commercial awareness; understand key drivers of the business and how they interact.
- Experience of establishing professional and positive relationships with stakeholders of varying seniority, influencing towards positive outcomes.
- Knowledge of vehicle rental or experience in a multi‑site operational function is advantageous but not essential; transferable skills across sectors are acceptable.
