Are you a skilled Painter / Prepper with a passion for delivering exceptional vehicle finishes? Do you take pride in preparing and refinishing vehicles to the highest standards? Join FMG Repair Services, one of the UK’s largest and most trusted vehicle repair networks. We're looking for an experienced Painter / Prepper to join our growing team in Birmingham on a night shift pattern, working 40 hours over 4 nights - Mon - Thurs 2:30pm - 1:00am (30‑minute lunch break).

What you'll be doing:

  • Preparing vehicles for paint, including sanding, masking, priming, and filler work
  • Mixing and applying paint to manufacturer standards
  • Carrying out colour matching and blending to achieve a flawless finish
  • Identifying and correcting paint defects where required
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Painter, Paint Sprayer, Prepper, or in a similar role
  • Excellent preparation, colour-matching, and finishing skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • A proactive, team-focused approach
  • Full UK Driving Licence preferred
